See the masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rafael, Della Robia, Fra Angelico, Botticelli, Filipino Lippi, Caravaggio, Canaletto, Tiepolo, Diego Velasquez, Goya, about 20 works by Rembrandt, Rubens — about 40 masterpieces, Anthony van Dyck, Franz Halls, Antonio Canova and many other famous artists. You will also see beautiful state halls of the Winter Palace. At 2 pm when your tour is over, you may stay more at the museum on your own. (Accommodation is not included )
Day 2: Pushkin

Our licensed English-speaking guide and chauffeur will meet you in the lobby of your hotel with the Red Sun Tours sign at 10.00. The drive in a comfortable vehicle to Catherine’s palace will take you about 1 hour. Pushkin town where Catherine palace was built is located 25 km from St. Petersburg. The majestic Catherine Palace and Park were one of the most beautiful summer residences of the Russian Tzar’s family. During the tour of the Palace, you will walk through the majestic gallery of the state halls where balls, receptions and gala dinners took place. In the Palace, you will visit the famous Amber Room («the Eighth Wonder of the World»). After the Palace tour, you can have a walk in the beautiful Catherine Park. At 2 pm return to the city. Day 3: Peterhof / St Petersburg

Peterhof is the former summer residence of Peter the Great. It is world-known for the picturesque Lower Gardens with spectacular fountains and numerous Palaces and pavilions representing "Russian Versailles". You will have a tour of the Grand Palace and Peterhof Fountain?Park and Upper?Gardens, including the breathtaking Grand Cascade. At 2.30 return to the city. Afternoon on your own. Day 4: St Petersburg
10.00. Today in the morning you will have a city sightseeing tour with visits to Peter and Paul Fortress& Cathedral and Savior on Blood Cathedral. Peter and Paul Cathedral Peter and Paul Cathedral is the symbolic center of Russia because it is the burial vault of many of the Romanov family. For two hundred years all Russian rulers from Peter I to Nicolas II (except Peter II and Ivan VI) and their families were buried there. The lids of the tombs are decorated with large bronze crosses coated in pure gold, tombs of the rulers have four bronze emblems of the Russian Empire at four corners. The remains of the last Russian Emperor Nicolas II and members of his family, who were shot under the town of Ekaterinburg by local Bolsheviks on 17 July 1918, were buried in the Catherine’s Chapel of Peter and Paul Cathedral on 17 July 1998. Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg is an Orthodox Memorial constructed in memory of Emperor Alexander II who was wounded March 1, 1881 exactly where the cathedral is located now. The first thing you notice when entering the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood in is a wonderful mosaic carpet of its icons and ornaments covering the entire inner space, from the base to the main dome. It is the only Orthodox Cathedral, mosaic decoration of which is 7065 square meters, one of the largest mosaic collections in Europe. In the afternoon have a canal boat ride in the historic center. You will be taken by a boat along the granite embankments of the small rivers and canals to the main waterway of the Saint Petersburg Neva river, showing you the gorgeous palaces and bridges from a different perspective.
